Ruth Wilson Gilmore (* 2. April 1950[1] in New Haven, Connecticut[2]) ist eine US-amerikanische Geographin sowie Theoretikerin und Aktivistin des kriminologischen Abolitionismus. Sie ist Professorin sowie Direktorin des Center for Place, Culture, and Politics an der City University of New York (CUNY).[3] Sie entwickelte eine Geographie des Abolitionismus.
